Zaapi Referral Programme

Overview

Zaapi's referral programme rewards you for introducing other businesses to Zaapi. You share your referral link, they get 20% off their first subscription payment, and you get account credit when they pay.

How it works

You share your referral link
└── They register and enter your code
└── They subscribe, paying 20% less on their first payment
└── $150 / ฿5,000 credit lands on your account automatically
└── You spend it on subscription payments or automatic AI top-ups

Every organisation on Zaapi has its own referral link, containing a code unique to that organisation. When someone registers using your code, they're permanently linked to you as your referral.

The reward is released when your referral makes their first subscription payment — not when they register, and not when they start a trial. Credit is applied to your account automatically; you don't need to claim it or contact anyone.

Click the gift icon at the bottom of the left sidebar to open your Referrals page. Your link and code are at the top, ready to copy.

The Referrals page is where you'll also see your credit balance, the referrals you've made, and the status of each one.

What your referral gets

Your referral gets 20% off their first subscription payment.

  • The code must be entered in the referral code field on the registration form at the moment they create their account. This is the only opportunity to use it. It can't be added to an account that already exists, it can't be applied retrospectively, and a referral can't be claimed after the fact — so make sure they have your link before they sign up.

  • The discount applies to their first subscription payment only. Subsequent payments are at the standard rate.

  • It applies to the subscription plan fee. One-off fees, AI token top-ups and taxes aren't discounted.

  • It can't be combined with another discount, promotion or negotiated rate. If your referral is already on a discounted price, the referral discount doesn't stack on top — but you still earn your credit when they pay.

  • Only new organisations qualify. An organisation that has held a Zaapi account before — including a free trial that never converted — isn't a valid referral.

What you get

When your referral makes their first subscription payment, $150 or ฿5,000 in credit is added to your account.

Which one you get depends on the currency your account is billed in:

Your billing currency
Your reward

Thai Baht (THB)

฿5,000

Any other currency

$150 USD

You'll get an email confirming the credit, and it will appear on your Referrals page straight away.

You need an active paid subscription for credit to be issued. Anyone with a Zaapi account can share their link — including during a free trial — but the reward is only released to accounts on an active paid plan at the moment your referral makes their first payment.

If you're still on a trial when that happens, the reward can't be issued and it can't be paid to you later once you subscribe. If you're planning to refer someone, subscribe first.

Spending your credit

Credit sits on your account as a balance and is applied automatically to your next eligible payment. You don't need to enter a code or ask for it to be used.

Credit can be used for:

  • Subscription payments — monthly or annual

  • Automatic AI token top-ups

Credit can't be used for:

  • Manual AI token top-ups bought inside the product. If you would like to apply your credit to a one off token top up, please contact our support team.

  • Anything outside Zaapi. Credit has no cash value, can't be withdrawn, refunded or transferred to another account.

If your credit balance is smaller than the invoice, the balance is used first and the remainder is charged to your payment method as normal. If it's larger, the rest stays on your account for next time.

Credit doesn't expire. It stays available for as long as your account is open and in good standing — it's lost if the account is closed or suspended.

When credit is reversed

Your reward depends on Zaapi keeping your referral's payment. If that first payment is refunded, reversed or charged back, the related credit is reversed too.

If you've already spent the credit by then, the reversal is applied to your next invoice or billed to you. This is rare, but worth knowing before you count a large balance as banked.

Tracking your referrals

Your Referrals page shows every referral against your code and where each one has got to — registered, subscribed, or credit issued. Use it to see which of your introductions have converted and what you've earned in total.

Fair use

There's no limit on how many organisations you can refer, and no cap on how much credit you can earn. The programme is built to reward real introductions to real businesses, and we'd rather not put a number on that.

We do reserve the right to introduce limits, and to change or withdraw the programme — see the Terms of Use for what that covers.

What it isn't built for:

  • Referring yourself, or registering additional accounts for a business you already control

  • Creating accounts on someone else's behalf, or entering a code without their knowledge

  • Bidding on Zaapi brand terms in paid search, or posting your code to coupon, deal and voucher sites

  • Spam, bulk unsolicited messaging, or offering your own incentive for someone to sign up

  • Misrepresenting Zaapi, its pricing or what the programme offers

Zaapi reviews referral activity and can withhold credit, reverse credit already issued, invoice for a discount that was wrongly applied, remove an account from the programme, or suspend accounts involved. See the Referral Programme section of the Terms of Use for the full terms.

Troubleshooting

Problem
Cause and fix

My referral has signed up but I haven't received credit

Credit is released on their first subscription payment, not at registration. If they're on a trial, the reward is still pending. Check their status on your Referrals page.

They forgot to enter my code

Unfortunately the referral can't be claimed. The code has to be entered on the registration form when the account is created — it can't be added afterwards, by you, by them or by our support team, and the referral can't be credited later.

My credit didn't cover a manual AI token top-up

Manual top-ups bought in-product use a separate billing mechanism and credit doesn't apply. Credit covers subscription payments and automatic AI top-ups.

I can't see a credit balance and I'm on a free trial

You can share your link during a trial, but credit is only issued to accounts on an active paid subscription at the moment the referral pays. It can't be backdated once you subscribe, so subscribe before you refer.

The credit amount isn't what I expected

The reward follows your account's billing currency — ฿5,000 for accounts billed in Thai Baht, $150 for everything else. It isn't converted between the two.

My referral cancelled after subscribing — do I lose my credit?

Not if they paid and we kept the payment. Credit is only reversed if that first payment is refunded, reversed or charged back.

My referral is on a negotiated price and got no discount

The referral discount doesn't stack with other discounts, promotions or negotiated rates. You still earn your credit when they make their first subscription payment.

I referred an existing Zaapi customer

Only new organisations qualify. An organisation that has held a Zaapi account before — including a trial that never converted — isn't a valid referral and won't release credit.
